Project Overview

Valiot is an Al platform that enables plant managers to identify and quickly alleviate production bottlenecks without dismantling existing infrastructure or equipment. The company seeks to use their FactoryOS and ValueChainOS in order to improve manufacturing efficiency for a wide variety of factories around the world. FactoryOS maximizes shop floor operations and productivity, reduces scrap generation and eliminates hidden factory pains. Meanwhile ValueChainOS uses AI to improve Value Chains via optimizing inventory levels, maximizing throughput and increasing manufacturers' customer service level. ValueChainOS also uses a smart replenishment model and schedules production to avoid future production issues.

The Problem

Valiot wanted to increase their company’s profile by being featured in a number of top-tier publications covering AI/Automation, Manufacturing, and Supply Chains. The goal of this was to raise awareness of their AI tools and to raise awareness of their latest deal with Hienekin. Valiot was looking for brand awareness and credibility for their AI platform, and as a new project, Lightyear Strategies consulted and advised as to the direction and best avenues for Valiot to gain notoriety. We worked on delivering consistent messaging to reflect the pillars and concepts of the project.

The Strategy

The strategy Lightyear Strategies took to boost the brand’s media attention was through successful pitches and commentary opportunities that aligned with Valiot’s messaging. Multiple pitches were used that targeted specific areas of their potential business. This generated multiple opportunities presented from major publications for commentary pertaining to Valiot’s expertise. Following these successful pitches, Valiot entered the broader discourse and conversation around AI Technology and supply chain issues, highlighting remarks about supply chain issues and the ways that AI tools such as Valiot AI . Likewise, the opportunities these pitches opened up have allowed Valiot to gain traction in the media and recognition for what they were trying to achieve. As well, Lightyear Strategies implemented a marketing strategy for the company, with a similar pitching style being used to help Valiot get meetings with other manufacturing companies which would be interested in Valiot’s AI.

As a result of this coverage, Valiot was named a Top Smart Factory Solutions Provider for 2022 by Manufacturing Technology Insights (MTI), allowing Valiot’s to demonstrate their commitment to providing innovative AI solutions to help manufacturers reach their goals. In addition, our marketing strategy saw immediate results, and led to many productive meetings for the company and helped lay the groundwork for future sales.
